Feedback

Hope everyone had a great Christmas and are enjoying your break (if you are lucky enough to have one).

I have my last wedding for the year tomorrow, 30th December, which should be a blast. Can't wait for that one.

As a video producer it is always nice to get feedback from not only the clients but family and friends as well.

We were fortunate earlier this year to produce Melinda and Richards' wedding which she showed to her friends on Wedding Central Forums. Melinda was and remains one of our greatest supporters. Thank you.

Click the link below to see the fantastic responses she got.

It's feedback like this that keeps motivating us. Thank you to all who commented.

Importance of Wedding Video Podcast

I found this link recently during one of my travels around the world wide web.

It is an informative and very useful interview that was recently played on Martha Stewart Living Radio on SIRIUS Radio,(from the USA).

A well-known American Wedding Videojournalist Robert Allen and editor Darcy Miller talk about the importance of video for a wedding. They also talk about all the things you need to know about choosing the right videographer for your wedding day event.

Some of it isn't relevant here in Australia, such as tipping the videographer (although not a bad idea...just kidding) however it is still one of the best pieces of information for those of you still deciding on whether or not to get your wedding recorded on DVD.

Hope you enjoy it...

Here’s the podcast in .mp3 format that you can download:

Love Story II

As I wrote in the previous post, we have shot a couple of Love Story videos recently. I have just completed another one and thought I would share it.

Jayvie and Philip were a fun couple to work with. We had to interview Philip three times just to get it right....he is a very patient person (as Jayvie points out in the video).

They will be married on the 30th December, 2006 on Sydney Harbour so we went to Milsons point to get footage of the Bridge, Opera House and Luna Park. It was a fun evening.

Anyway, take a look and feel free to leave us a comment.

Love Story Videos

We had the pleasure this week of shooting two pre-wedding Love Story videos. They include a location shoot and an interview which covers the history of the couple from when they met, the present, and their hopes for the future.

It is a product that I really believe has fantastic historical value for the years to come. I know I would love to be able to see a similar video of my parents and grandparents prior to their wedding however the technology just wasn't available back then.

We really are so lucky to be living in this age where we are able to record so many of our biggest moments for generations to come.

We are having a special campaign in which we are going to include the pre-wedding Love Story video for FREE to the next five couples that book with us.

I have included one of the Love Stories we shot earlier this week so you can have a better idea of what they look like.

Thanks to Janice and Ryan for all their co-operation.

James and Irr were united together at All Saints Anglican Church in Parramatta on December 2nd, 2006. It was a glorious ceremony with singing by James' brother (who has a superb voice) and readings by other family members.

The reception was held at the Belhaven Manor in Wentworthville and was a great venue for all the guests to enjoy the evening with fine food, drinks and dancing.

To the end the evening, James and Irr, were driven away (at a very fast pace) in a beautfiul convertible BMW.

What a great day.
